Hey Y'all

Stilrein started out; for fun; as The Best Little Corgihouse In Texas on Facebook. Our page is still named this in fact! We were also referred to as MC Corgis, until we decided on our "kennel" name, which stood for McCann Clan's Corgis. Stilrein, pronounced and original spelling Steel Rain, came to be our kennel name as it is military jargon for Artillery. Throughout my husband's years in the Army his MOS was Field Artillery. This is very near and dear to us as we had planned to be career military. Therefore, Stilrein came to be and we couldn't have chosen a more fitting name.

As a young girl my Aunt used to breed Corgis and my fascination blossomed from there. So when we became a civilian family again, I started my journey in to breeding. Nothing was taken for granted, and I appreciate dearly all that has helped in the growth to where we are now. Over my short time in the Corgi and breeding world I have learned SO much, through many different avenues! It has definitely been a journey, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Though I am the head of this venture, it is a family program We all sat down, talked it through, and agreed as a family it was something we wanted to do before we even put our first deposit down. I grew-up with a very deep seeded love for animals and now that we are no longer a military family, my husband and I are able to raise our children much the same.
